Travel Toiletries....

It has been a year since I had written anything in this blog... I don't deserved to be called passionate blogger... LOL. I just downloaded a blog application in my smartphone... it gives me the feeling to come back blogging.

I want to remind to you that my mother tongue is not English so please excuse my grammatical error. I want to practice English from blogging... because its one of the thing i would love to do. :)

So, what would i advice you to bring to tropical countries for backpacking or holiday? why? i will explain it below...

1. To travel on budget, especially for who is trying to save on toiletries budget... If you plan to stay at hotels, they usually provide shampoo and bath gel/soap. it depends on the place you stay. If they do not put it in the bathroom, ask the hotel staff if they can provide you with these things. Maybe they forget to put it after they clean the room (happened to me twice). what if they don't provide? bring your own shower gel/soap or from the previous hotel you stay! (everybody would do that : P).

2. Toothbrush and Toothpaste. (Except you don't mind stinky breath)

3. Shampoo (with conditioner)

4. Sunscreen. tropical sunlight 12 hours a day, moist environment (with sweating) burning tropical heat... i would suggest SPF 50 and  above. Re-apply if necessary... Mine is SPF 130 (Brand: Sunplay) and I hardly re-apply.

5. Face moisturizer

6. Body Lotion. This one is according to your preference. if you tends to have crack heel or dry skin in air-conditioned room, you will need this for night use because you will use sunscreen on day time.

7. Deodorant. You just cant escape from sweating in tropical environment!

Basically, this is all you need when travelling. For me, i would trash eyeliner, compact powder and make up remover in my toiletries bag because i can't resist to look the best in my pictures : )

Long hair is classic beauty...

Short hair is daring but for classic long hair is a timeless beauty. I always have better compliments from my friends with my long hair. Short hair is easy to manage but for long hair, you will need to trim the end regularly. In my opinion, you could look chic/smart/cool with different updo and just let it loose in lazy day. But remember, keep your hair healty to have lusty look. Should we say it is an instant glamorous?...

Chic wear: short pants

These are collection of celebrity pictures i google in the internet to help the ladies out there. For those who bought short pants but have little confidence on what to match the pants with.... better check this out before you keep the pants until outdated and trash it. I did some research for wearing short pants so i'm wearing short pants more often. why i like it? because tropical weather is hot and humid. The last picture is me wearing black short pants with blue body glove t-shirt. Well, the celebs have the legs but i try to work the pants by drawing attention to my top (by wearing striking color tops).

Christmas treat

Its almost Christmas... surely everyone had a bit of Christmas spirit right now? well, i had bought a dress and a shoe to our dinner. They did it early because there will be a lot of open house during 25th onwards. This is my dress that i had bought last week.

That was my brother. He is holding an apple. I bought this dress because i saw Drew Barrymore was wearing a dress with almost similar cutting. The difference is significant but i do realize dress with cutting like this hides my tummy.

I could make it colorful by adding accessories but i did not have the time to shop for accessories. I suggest to buy accessories with pastel color. Pink shoe, with pastel beads necklace, and pink earing. yellow bangles also works.

This is my shoe that i pair with my dress. It is a very comfortable shoe. For the whole day i am looking for a shoe like this. I like how it sparkle. It brings light to my dress.

Perfect at something and sucks at everything!

This title is well thought of when i write this blog. I had an English supervisor while doing my thesis and i think that he is very interesting because he has a lot to talk about (mostly about hydrology and geology). Yesterday he told me that it is good that i get a job that related to my field of study (environmental science). Even though that I cant like this job or I am confuse if I can improve my career and finance in this company, it is better that I specialize in this job and then go to other company when I am good at doing it. the company that I am currently working is a small company and I am underpaid but I cannot give up because I need to learn and do this job until I grew old. the only thing that I can think of is to suck their knowledge as quick as I can in this company and do my M.Sc. There is some advantage for me being here... the company get a lot of projects but we do not have enough workers... so, obviously one staff will handle a lot of responsibilities. I get to learn more things quickly including admin work. With my knowledge and experience in this company (including the environment enactment), my work will be easier while doing M.Sc. I can establish my networking skills with other departments. this reminds me of my supervisors. they have a great networking skill. I would love to be like them. I had started practicing my networking skill but it takes time to develop... For all fresh graduates out there, I advice that you get as much experience as possible and then, you will know what to do. if you sucks in every job that you do, you will end up to be sucks in everything. you must be willing to learn then you will have something to be proud of.
